The Work of the Holy Spirit

৳ 60

Neville Bartle, missionary to the South Pacific Field based in Fiji, has announced a new release of his book The Work of the Holy Spirit in simplified English. Designed for pastoral and lay training in the South Pacific and other areas of the Asia-Pacific Region, the 120-page book seeks to avoid the abstract theological language generally associated with a Western approach to theology. The book was originally written in Pidgin English for use in Papua New Guinea.

Asia-Pacific Regional Director A. Brent Cobb welcomed the book's publication. “We salute Dr. Bartle for his efforts that have produced this new release in simplified English,” said Cobb. “It will meet a very real need in Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, and in many other world areas where a clear and compelling book about the Person and work of the Holy Spirit has been long overdue.”

Bartle, a native of New Zealand, has written more than 30 books and booklets during his missionary career. He and his wife, Joyce, moved to Fiji in August 2001 to begin service on the South Pacific Field. They had previously served for 32 years in Papua New Guinea. Further information about The Work of the Holy Spirit is available by E-mailing Bartle at {nbartle@nazarene.com.fj}.
